Provo River at a Glance

The Provo River is a gentle, crystal-clear waterway stretching over 4 miles through Utah’s scenic Wasatch Front. Our favorite float section—from Deer Creek Reservoir to Vivian Park—takes roughly 2–3 hours at a leisurely pace, making it perfect for families and first-time floaters. Along the way, you’ll spot rainbow and brown trout darting beneath the surface, kingfishers diving for their next meal, and maybe even a curious muskrat paddling by. With calm currents, minimal portages, and easy access at both ends, the Provo River offers an effortless, wildlife-packed adventure that’s as relaxing as it is memorable.

The Bitters

Several inflatable rafts are lined up on the grassy bank of a serene river, with steep rocky hills in the background. The area is lush and green near the water, transitioning to dry, rugged terrain further away. The scene is captured during what appears to be early morning or late afternoon, indicated by the soft, angled lighting.
